Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Assemble, manage, and mentor a team of paralegals, fostering a culture of excellence, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Estate Planning Expertise: Oversee estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and probate, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely handling.
- Client Interaction: Establish and maintain client relationships, providing clear communication and compassionate support throughout the process.
- Legal Research: Stay current on estate planning laws, regulations, and industry developments to enhance strategy and compliance.
- Document Management: Maintain organized and precise records, contracts, and client files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to support seamless firm operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10 years as a paralegal, with a focus on estate planning.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in legal software, document management, and research tools.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification: Paralegal certification required.
