Job Description:
We are seeking a Trust and Estate Attorney to join our dynamic team. Our firm specializes in estate planning, estate administration, elder law, and related legal services. We are dedicated to providing personalized attention and compassionate guidance to our clients, helping them navigate through complex legal situations with ease.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
- Assist clients with estate administration, probate proceedings, and trust administration
- Handle conservatorship matters and elder law issues
- Represent clients in trust and estate litigation, if necessary
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations in the field of estate planning and elder law
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of California
- 3+ years of experience practicing trust and estate law
- Strong knowledge of estate planning techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and client-focused approach to legal practice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with high net worth clients
- Familiarity with Medi-Cal planning and eligibility requirements
- Prior experience handling trust and estate litigation matters
