This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated and complex trust and estate matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust and estate law, including probate, and will be driven by a strong desire to provide superior client service.

As a Trust and Estate Attorney, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and amending a variety of trust and estate documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other related documents.
2. Representing clients in probate and trust administration matters, including overseeing the probate process, advising trustees, and resolving disputes related to trusts and estates.
3. Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to trust and estate planning, including tax implications, asset protection, and wealth transfer strategies.
4. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
5. Keeping up-to-date with changes in trust and estate law and informing clients of these changes.
6. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and client service skills.
Job Details
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Trust and Estate Attorney position, you must have:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts and estates law, including probate.
4. Proven ability to handle a large and diverse caseload.
5. Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
7. High degree of professionalism and respect for confidentiality.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
