Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trust & Estate Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to utilize and expand their T&E, and estate administration skills. The candidate will be expected to handle a broad range of trust and estate cases, including those related to tax-exempt organizations and bank representation. This role is perfect for an associate attorney with a strong background in probate and wills, looking to take their career to the next level within a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse portfolio of trust and estate cases, ensuring all legal and administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients, including tax-exempt organizations and banks.
3. Draft, review, and revise various legal documents, including wills, trusts, and estate plans.
4. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle all aspects of estate administration.
5. Collaborate closely with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide the highest level of service to our clients.
6. Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in trust and estate law to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
7. Actively participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and enhance its reputation in the industry.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Trust & Estate Associate Attorney or similar role.
4. Proficiency in T&E, and estate administration.
5. Proven experience with tax-exempt organizations and bank representation.
6. Solid knowledge of probate law and experience in drafting and reviewing wills.
7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in various legal proceedings.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
9. A commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professional ethics.
10. A desire to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced legal environment.
