Title: Corporate Trust Associate
Client: Banking/Financial
Duration: 12+ possible extension/conversion
Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)
This position is an intermediate level role focused on the implementation and maintenance of Corporate Agency & Trust transactions. The role involves assisting in implementing and maintaining both new and existing transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of capital markets transactions, including but not limited to Aviation loan facilities and ABS Aircraft Securitizations.
- Support transaction managers in managing high volume New Loan Draws, Funding, Amortization, Prepayments, Interest Payments, Commitment Fees, and Amendments to Credit and Security Agreements.
- Manage Lender Waiver Requests and ongoing communication with the Aviation Banking Team, Delaware Loan Operations, and Transaction Managers on both new and existing facilities.
- Assist Transaction Managers with managing client day-to-day activities related to their transactions, including posting documents to Debt Domain.
- Support the distribution of relevant rate reset notices.
- Assist Transaction Managers in completion of internal projects related to their transactions and to clients.
- Manage document custody requests and releases.
- Address transactional inquiries from both internal and external Agency & Trust clients in connection with transactions.
- Adhere to Agency & Trust policies and procedures for client onboarding, deal implementation, account opening, deal payment processing, and deal maintenance.
- Coordinate with Operations and clients for transaction set-up, activity, and reporting.
- Coordinate with Operations for inquiries from clients.
- Demonstrate particular consideration for the bank's reputation and safeguard the institution, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience (e.g., operations, transaction management, product management).
- Demonstrated experience in deal implementation, deal maintenance, and direct interaction with clients.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Intermediate level of expertise with Excel and general computer knowledge.
- Demonstrate organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
