About the Job
gpac is pleased to be partnered with a local financial institution to identify a Trust Administrator.
Overview of position:
- Review and understand trust documents and assist with administration of personal trusts in accordance with trust documents
- Coordinate tax returns with outsider preparers and assisting with account reviews
- Read, analyze, and interpret common legal documents including Wills, Trusts, and other Estate planning documents
- Triage new business coming in weekly, and provide summary of accounts
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
- Should be able to understand customer account statements and the basics of investment theory and strategy
- Provide Administrative Support
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal or financial services field
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- JD with estate planning experience (a big plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and will need to become familiar with FIS/Charlotte/Sungard database software.
- Individual should be able to operate with limited administrative support.
