Minimum 1 Year DEALERSHIP experience in a Truck Shop is required
Premier Tech is currently seeking experienced Diesel Truck Technicians to fill immediate openings with Heavy Truck Service company located in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidates should be able to troubleshoot and repair systems within Heavy Trucks and should have the desire to grow with a company where they will receive advanced, on-going training and a slew of benefits as well as an unmatched work environment! Dealership experience is a MUST!
Requirements of the Diesel Mechanic / Technician
● Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex engine, hydraulic, electrical and component systems within Class 8 trucks
● High school diploma or GED required
● No specific certifications are required! We will get you the training to become certified!
● Mechanical aptitude is required
● Experience working on and repairing automotive, heavy and light duty trucks, construction, mining, cranes and agricultural equipment is a PLUS!
● Pass a Background check // physical examination // drug test // stable work history verification

2nd shift schedules are Monday through Friday from 3:30pm - 12:00am
Weekend 4x10-hour shifts are available Friday through Monday from 8am - 6pm

Responsibilities of the Diesel Mechanic / Technician
● Troubleshoot faults and failures, make repairs to trucks
● Order parts, prepare work orders, track time, communicate changes with supervisor and occasionally the customer
● 2nd shift - M-F 3:30pm - 12:00am
● 4x10-hour weekend shift - Friday - Monday 8:00am - 6:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
