Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver/Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting supplies and equipment to job sites while ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive delivery trucks in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Ready to assist loading and unloading materials at the warehouse if needed, ensuring proper handling and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Following the rules of Department of Transportation.
- Coordinating repair if there is an issue with the truck.
- Verify loads for accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- A medical DOT physical card.
- Previous experience as a truck driver or delivery driver.
- Ability to lift loads and perform physical tasks.
- Knowledge of local and regional roadways.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
