We are a nationally recognized law firm seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Trial Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on high-profile cases and make a significant impact. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and medical malpractice, with the ability to lead counsel and act as first chair in trials. Responsibilities:
As a Trial Attorney, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Handling a wide variety of healthcare and medical malpractice cases, from intake through trial.
2. Leading counsel and acting as first chair in trials, demonstrating exceptional courtroom advocacy skills.
3. Developing and implementing trial strategies that ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
4. Conducting thorough and meticulous legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
5. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
6. Building strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
7. Collaborating with other attorneys in the firm to leverage collective knowledge and experience.
8. Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect our clients and their cases.
9. Demonstrating a commitment to ethical practice and upholding the firm's reputation for integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Sr Trial Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a significant portion of that time spent in trial work.
3. Specific experience in healthcare and medical malpractice law is essential.
4. Proven experience as a lead counsel and acting as first chair in trials.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
8. Admitted and in good standing with the state bar.
9. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
10. A commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
