About the Job
Forecasts the cash and liquidity needs of the organization and ensures there is sufficient cash to meet operational needs | Determines when additional cash is needed and raises funds through the issuance of debt and/or sale of stock | Monitors the structural position of the organization's balance sheet to ensure the capital structure and investment allocation are optimal and consistent with the organization's investment policy and strategy | Processes outgoing and incoming cash activity and monitors transactions for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements | Tracks securities and other financial assets pledged as collateral to secure funds | Liaises and negotiates with banks, credit rating agencies and other institutions and maintains effective relationships with the financial community | May evaluate complex transactions for various business units to assess financial risk and funding implications.
Major Position Responsibilities:
- Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects of public or private institutions
- Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
- Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.
- Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.

Basic Qualifications:
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience or Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Cash and Receipts Management. Cash Management.t Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Flow Of Funds Management. Treasury Management. Trend Analysis. Lending Regulatory Compliance. Cash Flow Analysis. - Critical professional related technical skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business, Finance or Accounting degree preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Travel:
- Less than 25% travel likely.
