LHH has partnered with a established and very positively recognized mortgage company in search for a Treasury Specialist. This position will last approximately 6 months.
Key Responsibilities Of This Temp Treasury Specialist:
- Handle the daily receipt, logging, and distribution of Finance's mail.
- Generate daily reports on cash positions and manage cash flow support.
- Compile weekly reports on notes not sent to the bank.
- Record and code checks received for the cash management team.
- Confirm pairoff settlements with brokers and process wire requests three times a month.
- Reconcile low activity bank and liability accounts on a monthly basis.
- Oversee appraisal payment sites (Speedpay).
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- One year of experience in a related accounting support role. Previous experience in the mortgage industry and familiarity with accounting systems is preferred.
- Understanding of general accounting principles and banking systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of the mortgage process.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well with others and handle pressure effectively.
