Job Title: Treasury Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to oversee all aspects of our company's treasury functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in treasury management, with a strong background in merchant processing. As the Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for managing cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and mitigating financial risks.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily cash balances and cash forecasting to ensure optimal liquidity.
Oversee the company's merchant processing activities, including credit card transactions, electronic payments, and reconciliations.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize merchant processing operations, reduce processing fees, and enhance efficiency.
Monitor and analyze merchant processing trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and sales teams, to streamline processes and resolve any issues related to merchant processing.
Evaluate and select merchant processing partners/vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality service and competitive pricing.
Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to merchant processing and ensure adherence to all relevant standards.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on treasury activities, merchant processing performance, and key metrics for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a Treasury Manager or similar role, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in treasury management.
Strong understanding of merchant processing principles, practices, and technologies.
Proficiency in using treasury management systems and merchant processing platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
