Treasury Analyst- Investment Management- Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for a Treasury Analyst position with a top-tier Investment Management firm based in Boston, MA. This position will report to the Corporate Treasurer and will be responsible for assisting the corporate treasury team in the daily cash management duties, responsibilities include but are not limited to, daily cash scheduling, wire processing, cash activity reconciliation, management of short-term investments. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience within financial services industry.
This is a 6+ month contract that will pay $25-30/hr within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite 3 days/wk in the Boston office.
Responsibilities:

Perform daily cash management activities such as scheduling cash, short-term investing and wire transmission

Assist in the monthly accounting close process consisting of creating monthly valuation packages to support journal entries as well as the reconciliation of the GL account balances

Monitor compliance with counterparties and coordinate quarterly compliance with all corporate ISDA agreements

Assist in the maintenance and optimization of the treasury management system

Develop and initiate projects to improve accounting, reporting and analysis to ensure that these functions are performed efficiently and that clear audit trails are maintained

Coordinate/prepare support for independent audits

Monitor audit progress, respond to auditors’ questions and communicates all relevant issues to management

Assist with additional responsibilities and /or analysis as requested
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2+ years of relevant experience preferably within financial services

Familiarity with treasury management systems (preferred)

FX forward experience or equity derivatives experience (preferred)

Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, analytical skills required

Strong personal computer skills including spreadsheet and database required

Ability to work independently on various projects to achieve desired results

Ability to work beyond normal working hours required
