Job Description:

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of high-end restaurants from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position requires extensive travel to project sites and a hands-on approach to managing construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for high-end restaurant projects.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labor forces.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including clients, architects, and company management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on high-end restaurants or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay on-site as needed.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA) and a valid driver’s license.
