We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and experienced Permanent Traveling Superintendent - Healthcare to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing our healthcare construction projects across various locations nationwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering excellent results and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising all phases of healthcare construction projects from initial planning to completion
2. Ensuring that all projects adhere to established quality control procedures and meet all safety regulations
3. Implementing and managing project risk management strategies to minimize potential issues and delays
4. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are executed effectively and efficiently
5. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) standards and other healthcare-specific regulations
6. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner
7. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and upper management, including status reports, budet updates, and schedule adjustments.
8. Traveling to various project sites as needed to oversee construction activities and ensure project success
Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in the healthcare sector
2. Proven experience in quality control, risk management, and adherence to ICRA standards
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues before they escalate
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, including project teams, clients, and upper management
7. Willingness to travel extensively as required by project needs
