We are seeking an experienced Permanent Traveling Superintendent who thrives on the thrill of coordinating complex construction projects. You will be a key player in the development of retail spaces, restaurants, and ground-up projects. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Traveling Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind our commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and coordinating construction activities.
2. Developing and maintaining construction schedules, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Coordinating with subcontractors, managing their schedules, and ensuring they comply with all project specifications.
4. Utilizing Procore construction management software to streamline project management and improve communication among team members.
5. Ensuring all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
6. Managing tenant improvements and ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations.
7. Conducting regular site inspections and resolving any issues or delays that arise.
8. Working closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications
To thrive in this exciting role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role within the Commercial Construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and overseeing retail and restaurant construction projects.
3. Proficiency in using Procore or similar construction management software.
4. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and project management skills.
6. The ability to travel frequently and be on-site as required.
7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
