About the Role:
FaciliServ is actively seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to serve our growing Midwest region. Based out of Woodstock, IL, you'll have the opportunity to travel across the Midwest, ensuring that athletic equipment at schools, stadiums, and recreation centers is safe, operational, and ready for action. This role combines physical activity, problem-solving, and customer interaction, making it perfect for those who are skilled with tools, comfortable working at heights, and excited to travel for work.

- Regional Travel: Extensive travel across the Midwest with overnight stays; all driving time is compensated, and a company vehicle is provided.
- Customer Engagement: Consult directly with clients to assess and troubleshoot equipment issues on-site.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and maintain gym and bleacher equipment to meet safety and operational standards.
- Safety at Heights: Perform tasks on structures ranging from 20-50 feet, using ladders, lifts, and safety equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately record work performed, materials used, and customer interactions for each project.
- Physical Tasks: Engage in lifting, crawling, bending, and other physical activities essential for maintenance work.
- Hands-On Experience: Experience in carpentry, welding, electrical work, or mechanical fields is a plus. Comfort with tools and the ability to read a tape measure is essential.
- Love for Travel: Willing to travel approximately 85% of the time across the Midwest, primarily Monday to Friday.
- Physically Capable: Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks in various environments.
- Excellent Communicator: Skilled at client communication and documenting detailed work records.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean record; able to pass background checks and DOT physical as required.
