Position OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, execution, and management of electrical projects within the construction sector, particularly focused on data center projects. The role involves collaborating with project managers and various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the project manager in planning and executing electrical projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and progress reports.
- Support the project manager in managing project schedules and resources effectively.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically in electrical contracting.
- Familiarity with data center construction processes and standards is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
