ID: 52120670 Shift: 12 HR Nights 19:00-07:00 Description: Job Specific Notes: Registered Respiratory Therapist Transport NICUSign On Bonus : $15,000Location(s) : McLane Children's Hospital, Temple, TX.Schedule: FT Night Position ( 12 hour shifts) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEPerforms and directs the administration of respiratory care services (including but not limited to oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, intubation, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and bedside spirometry), as ordered by a patient attending physician, in a quality manner that is in accordance with established procedures. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.Reviews physician's orders, examines patient's diagnostic test results and provides appropriate therapy based on the patient's current clinical condition. If appropriate, implements approved protocols as directed by a physician.Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental operations, policies, procedures, products, and programs relating to the transport environment and patient population.Demonstrates data skills necessary to resolve complex patient problems in a mobile environment, develop standards of care and procedures, and evaluate the quality of respiratory care.Documents all treatments and therapies given, any supplies used and accurately files all corresponding charges.
