About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Rehabilitation **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night Shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years **License:** RN licensed in the State of MO **Certifications:** IV Certification, BLS (CPR) **Must-Have:** CRRN is preferred **Job Description:** - Provide exceptional inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from various conditions such as strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple traumas, cancer, and complex orthopedic injuries. - Work within specialized units including: - Brain injury unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, and dedicated therapy areas. - Dedicated stroke care unit with specialized equipment. - Utilize high-tech therapy devices and treatments in gymnasiums. - Help patients and families practice daily living tasks in a specially designed apartment. - Engage in pet therapy and other recreational programs. - Promote recovery in an outdoor healing garden and walking trail. - Join a team dedicated to improving individual functional ability and quality of life. - Employ a comprehensive treatment approach, addressing physical, emotional, and psychological components. - Focus evaluations on movement patterns, strength, flexibility, functional ability, balance, and tone. - Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and family members for patient progression. - Work in an adult patient population (age 18+ years) with general patient ratios of approximately 1:6/7 during the day and 1:8 at night, each nurse supported by a dedicated tech. - Wear black scrubs and an ID badge provided by the agency. - Report to the charge nurse upon arrival for shifts. Note: Orientation hours and further details will be provided during the onboarding process.
