About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Pediatrics **Job Duration:** 16 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); Night 3x12-Hour (19:30 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** 2 or more years of experience **License:** Active MD or Compact License at time of submission **Certifications:** Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions **Must-Have:** - 2 satisfactory professional references from recent employers: 1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN - Local rule: Permanent residence must be 50 miles or over from the hospital - Candidates must be comfortable floating within the hospital without restrictions or special requests **Job Description:** - Holiday and weekend shifts required - On-call duty is not required - Orientation consists of 24 hours - Compliance document deadline is 5 days prior to start - Candidates are required to go in for their labs within 72 hours of signing their contract - Request for time off (RTO) must be included at time of initial submission and cannot be changed once offered - RTO should not exceed 7 days, and if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week will be added at the end of the contract - Most locations and units will allow for one major holiday off during the winter season, subject to job-specific requirements - Return Traveler Policy: A candidate must be away for at least 6 months from the system - Return Staff Policy: All former staff must be gone for 12 months before they can return as a traveler
