**Job Title:** Staff Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Medicine/Hematology Oncology **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** 3rd Shift, 12 Hour Nights, Float as Needed, Every Other Weekend **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours Per Week **Experience:** Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment; Telemetry experience and competency required **License:** Current State Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 Days of Hire **Must-Have:** - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice through education at an accredited School of Nursing (Eligibility for Licensure as a Registered Nurse Required) - Telemetry Experience and Competency **Job Description:** - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a primarily adult patient population in an inpatient environment. - Demonstrate competency in delivering care to target patient populations. - Requires a Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Preferred). - Adapt essential functions of nursing practice based on the American Nurses Association (ANA) Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. - Ability to float across different units as needed. - Effective communication skills in English (speak, read, write). This position values hands-on experience and a strong understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of nursing. The role requires adaptation and flexibility to work within various clinical settings, ensuring the best patient outcomes.
