Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred, 4 years preferred License: Valid CA License required Certifications: Specific certifications required Must-Have: - CA License - Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience - Preferably 4 years of NICU experience - Able to work weekends - Ability to float between units - Ability to work on-call Job Description: - Start date: ASAP - Ratios: 1:2 - First-timers accepted: Yes - Weekend requirement: Every third weekend - Certifications required: To be specified - On-call requirement: Yes - Ability to float between like units: Yes - Open to accommodating block schedule: Per manager discretion - Locals accepted: Yes - Pending License accepted: No - RTO Restrictions: RTO must be included at the time of submission - Hospital Highlights: Acute Care Hospital with 277 total staffed beds - Scrub Color: RNs - Royal Blue or Navy Blue, Peds RNs - Peds friendly top and Royal or Navy Blue bottom - Charting: Epic - Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as a traveler - References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting Notes: - Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. - Housing options in the area may be limited, so traveler should look into housing options. - Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. - Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts.
