About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical-Surgical/Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 weeks, with an option for a 16-week contract **Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry required prior to travel assignments. **License:** Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. **Certifications:** BLS and ACLS required **Must-Have:** - Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the MS/Tele specialty before travel. - Active required certifications with nothing pending. - Two references from a manager, assistant manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. Please note that non-supervisory references are not acceptable. - A permanent reference obtained from the past 12 months. - A travel reference from the most recent assignment if the candidate has travel experience. **Job Description:** - Every other holiday schedule. - Night shifts, working 3x12-hour shifts weekly from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation with two attempts maximum to pass; failure to pass will result in cancellation. - Orientation includes 20 non-billable hours. - Background checks are reviewed, and applicants with open cases or license hits will not be accepted. - Temporary exemption from nicotine-free facility requirements for Nurses and CSTs. All other travelers must be nicotine-free. - Fingerprinting and badging will need to be completed on-site prior to the start date. - Pre-start modules required, with a maximum of 4 billable hours. Additional time for modules is non-billable. - Modules to be completed pre-start and annually, varying by specialty.
