About The Position
**Job Title:** Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Med-surg Peds, Med-surg Adult, Critical Care (CCU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night Shift **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in ER, ICU, or Med/Surg **License:** RN License **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS (Preferred) **Must-Have:** Ability to float to at least two departments, minimal supervision, strong teamwork skills **Job Description:** - Work in a modern healthcare facility in a rural location. - Float between the Emergency Room, ICU, and Med/Surg departments as needed. - Perform assessments, prescribe medications, delegate tasks, and coordinate nursing care. - Ensure quality care through established standards, policies, and procedures. - Develop and maintain a written Nursing Care Plan. - Advocate for patient needs and perform supervisory duties for assigned personnel. - Report to Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor. - Schedule includes 3x12 hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required. - Utilize EPIC for Electronic Medical Records. - Provide holiday coverage as needed. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a full-time physician and fellow nurses.
