About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** 2+ years **License:** Registered Nurse License **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS **Must-Have:** Cardiac experience **Job Description:** - Provide nursing care in the CVICU, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care. - Respond to emergency situations involving the cardiovascular system. - Monitor and evaluate the patient's progress and modify care plans as needed. - Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC. - Adhere to departmental policies, including dress code of black scrubs. - Participate in shift transitions, ensuring detailed handover of patient information. - Adapt to floating requirements and assist in other units when necessary. - Foster a positive environment and strong team collaboration. Please note that weekend and call requirements are part of this position.
