About The Position
Job Title: Case Management Manager • Registered Nurse (Day Shift)
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team as a Case Management Manager. This is a 13•week contract position, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing inpatient case manager processes
* Overseeing a team of 21 direct reports, including LVNs and non•licensed staff, and discharge planners
* Handling a high volume of cases and multitasking effectively
* Ensuring clear and meaningful communication to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
* Active CA RN License
* BLS Certification
* LA County Fire Card
* Minimum 1 year of Case Manager experience and 2 years of RN experience
* Inpatient and L&D experience
* Utilization review experience
* Ability to manage a high volume of cases and multitask effectively
* Excellent and clear communication skills
Additional Information:
* No on•call requirements
* No float requirements
* Up to 4 days max RTO approved
* COVID•19 vaccination required
* Orientation will be held every Monday
* Local applicants are welcome
* Scrub Color Requirement: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
* PPE: Fully Provided – fit test can be done on•site
* Parking: Available on•site
* EMR: Epic – Kaiser utilizes Epic specific to Kaiser
* Case types: All Inpatient, L&D, High Volume, Management of a team, Handling adults 18+, 15•20 cases per CM, LVNs are there to support anything clinical, Both CM and utilization review will be their responsibility
