ID: 52300092 Shift: Days, Full Time Description: SCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS: Frequent contact with patients, families, visitors, nursing, physicians and their office staff, CCHS Manager of Physician Relations, Department of Anesthesia, CCHS Finance Department, Materials Management, Surgical Scheduling Office, Perioperative Services leadership team, other CCHS managers and supervisors. 2 DIRECTION/SUPERVISION OF OTHERS: Assistant Clinical Manager, Specialty Coordinators, Registered Nurses, Surgical Technologists, Procedure Area Technicians DIRECTION/SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Director of Clinical Operations, Perioperative Services SVP, Procedural Platforms EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing BSN required, Master s Degree required (nursing, healthcare or business management preferred) Five years appropriate clinical and leadership experience An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of perioperative nursing Knowledge and understanding of the social, political and economical influences affecting health care programs Ability to make decisions independently Ability to organize and plan Ability to communicate positively and effectively Ability to deal with multiple challenges simultaneously Ability to prioritize, implement and follow-through on plans and goals Skill in interpersonal relations Skill in problem identification and directing staff in resolution of same Skill in written and oral communication Skill in leadership and mentorship Skill in directing people of diverse backgrounds and responsibilities Skill in financial management SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Current RN licensure in State of DE. Participation in professional nursing activities. Current approved specialty certification required, CNOR preferred BLS required PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, carry, reach, twist, handle, stoop, climb as per unit based Physical Demands Checklist.
