Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, technologists are responsible for the care and safety of patient's radiographic procedures; use of radiographic equipment; maintaining records; assuring appropriate supplies.

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) is a not-for-profit community hospital that was founded in 1904. Located in southeastern Vermont, BMH is licensed for up to 61 beds. We serve a rural population of about 55,000 people in 22 towns in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. BMH’s medical staff includes board-certified providers in primary care and many other specialties. The Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Health System includes the BMH Medical Group, a multispecialty group practice of primary care and specialty care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.The Department of Radiology at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is a consultative service that will provide services in the following categories: diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density and mammography. The department offers services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to inpatients, outpatients and emergency room patients of all ages. Whereas x-ray procedures constitute the majority of our service, we also provide related quality control (including protecting patients and staff from harmful radiation), quality assurance monitoring and evaluation, marketing and continuing education of staff and patients. Radiology is comprises of licensed technologists, certified and licensed nuclear medicine technologists, secretarial staff and licensed radiologists.
