Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient - (PTA)
StartDate: 12/30/2024 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1491.27 - $1634.05
PTA - outpatient needed asap Monday Through Friday 8-5; no weekends. 1 hour for evaluations, 45 min follow up appointments, no double booking. Total of 8-9 patients/day. This position description is intended to identify some of the duties and responsibilities of this position. modoc medical center reserves the right to modify, supplement, delete or augment the duties and responsibilities specified in this position description, at MODOC MEDICAL CENTER’S sole and absolute discretion. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Graduate of an APTA approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program and licensed by the State of California to provide PTA services. A PTA who has challenged the State Board examination and has been awarded state licensure may also be considered. 2. Experience in acute care, skilled nursing and out-patient physical therapy is preferred. A new graduate candidate may also be considered. 3. Demonstrates proficiency in performing physical therapy procedures and modalities and in assessing the effects of these 4. Ability to work with others, at all levels within the organization, and collaborate effectively. 5. Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills. 6. Must be a team player to all departments, confidential of sensitive data, respectful of all other staff members, considerate of other people’s time, and accountable for work output.
