About the Job
$2250-2320 per week 13 week assignment - Participating in a team to provide client-related therapy services
- Assisting clients in restoring or improving independent function relative to daily living activities
- Performing initial and ongoing client assessments, and applying appropriate goals and interventions to resolve identified problems
- Providing physical therapy services according to physician orders and regulations
- Notifying physicians of changes in client status in a timely manner and obtaining necessary orders for changes to the care plan
- Identifying and making appropriate modifications to equipment/environment to meet client needs
- Teaching and instructing clients/caregivers to promote physical and emotional health
- Contributing to the coordination of services through effective and timely communication with other health care team members
- Maintaining caseload and agency productivity standards
- Responding to referrals to Physical Therapy in a timely manner and documenting care according to agency standards
- Maintaining client self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality of personal information
- Protecting client rights and ensuring clients/caregivers are made aware of their rights and responsibilities
- Initiating emergency procedures as appropriate
- Ensuring clinical and administrative documentation adheres to agency, professional, and regulatory guidelines for timeliness and content
- Performing other duties within the scope of practice, as assigned by the Director of Clinical Operations
- Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am - 5 pm
- Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapy, Physical Therapist
- Required Certifications: General Certifications (ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP); Rehabilitation Certifications (ASHA, CHT, ACP Training)
