Are you a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) seeking a rewarding travel contract opportunity in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in St. Louis, MO.? We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team for a short-term contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' functional limitations and promote independence.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Educate patients and their families on safe and effective techniques for maximizing functional abilities and preventing injury.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care planning and coordination.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting preferred but not required.
