Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel OR RN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. • The location is in Scottsbluff, NE
• The working schedule for this role is 4 x 10s; every 4 - 5th weekend on call and then 1 week night a week of on call
• The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday requirements are as needed
• EMR used: Cerner
• The pay: $80.75 Hourly ($60.00 Taxable, $20.75 Stipend) = $3,230.00 Weekly = $12,920.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and the room is sterile
  
• Assist the surgical team in donning sterile attire and setting up the sterile field
• Perform circulating duties during surgery, including documenting the procedure, monitoring the patient's vital signs, and communicating with the surgical team
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support as needed
• Ensure the safe handling of surgical specimens
• Provide post-operative care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and assessing surgical site
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or master degree in nursing
• Current RN state license
  
• Minimum two (2) years current experience; must have Ortho Experience and Neuro OR Experience (Level 1 or 2 experience)
• Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment
• ACLS, BLS/BCLS required 
  
• Basic computer skills
  
• Professional, friendly attitude
