This position a temporary role designed to support our team of occupational therapists. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping patients improve their daily living and working skills through therapeutic practices. Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and work area.
- Educate patients and families about therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
Qualifications
- COTA certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is advantageous.
- Able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Adept at multitasking and managing time efficiently.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification may be required.
