ID: 52566238 Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 17:30) Description: *PLEASE be prepared to provide brief description of experience in pediatric feeding at time of subbing - firm requirement*Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience Needs to have the ability to independently evaluate and treat a full caseload of patients with the primary reason for referral as pediatric feeding disorder Experience in assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with feeding/eating difficulties required; experience with swallowing disorders preferred Experience with patients ranging 18 months and older is required; ages 8 months and older is preferred Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program, OR Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program if graduated prior to 2004 Experience in pediatric general developmental occupational therapy BLS (AHA) CA OT License or eligible to obtain if licensed in another state (takes 6-8 weeks to obtain after all required docs are received) Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred- Schedule Information: 4x10 Days 8:00am-6:30pm; Mon-Wed, Fri (off Th)- No call requirements- Length of Assignment: 20 weeks- RTO Standard: All RTO required up front, no exceptions- Facility Location: Murrieta, CAPosition is for an occupational therapist with experience in assessing and treating pediatric patients with feeding/eating difficulties. It would include the possibility for some general pediatric developmental occupational therapy coverage as well.Common Diagnoses Include: Pediatric Feeding Disorder, Oral Aversion, Feeding Difficulties, Dysphagia, ARFID, Failure to Thrive, Autism, Developmental Delay, Motor Delay, Fine Motor Delay, Sensory Processing Difficulties, varied genetic and developmental diagnoses.
