In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients regain and enhance their ability to perform daily activities. This position requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in diverse environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPatient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals.\nTherapeutic Intervention: Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.\nPatient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, therapeutic techniques, and strategies to facilitate recovery and enhance daily living skills.\nDocumentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.\nCollaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care and optimize therapeutic outcomes.\nAdaptability: Adjust to different facility protocols, treatment modalities, and patient populations while providing consistent, high-quality care.\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\nStrong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop and modify treatment plans as needed.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.\nKnowledge of current occupational therapy practices, evidence-based interventions, and regulatory standards.\nAbility to adapt to new environments and work efficiently in diverse clinical settings.\nEducation & Experience:\n\nMaster's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.\nCurrent licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice; eligibility to work in various states as required.\nMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with diverse patient populations.\nWillingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
