Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• MA License
• At least 1 year in the acute care hospital environment
• Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting
• Have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques, be a good communicator, comfortable working with other members of the health care team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management), team player, strong time management skills, be self-directed, flexible and able to multitask
• AHA BLS
• 2+ years ideal overall experience
• Familiarity in working with patients in a hospital setting, ICU experience would be an added bonus
• Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus
• Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus

• Average Patient Ratio or Patients seen in a shift: Goal productivity is 5.2 hours in a 8 hour day. Therapists usually manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, and are usually able to see between 6-7 patients.
