About The Position
**Job Title:** Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years **License:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Certifications:** **Must-Have:** - Expertise in the care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV) - Central line maintenance and care **Job Description:** - Work in a PICU with 20 beds and around 51 staff members. - Day shift includes 1 free charge nurse, 9 bedside RNs, and 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT). - Night shift includes 1 free charge nurse and 9 bedside RNs. - Patient Ratios: Typically 1:2; in some cases 1:1. - Utilize equipment such as Philip monitors, Alaris, and Medfusion IV pumps. - Document patient care using Meditech EMR. - Conduct typical procedures like conscious sedations and CT placements. - Preferred skills include post-operative cardiac experience and venous puncture. - Best personality fit includes flexibility, helpfulness, and humility. - Enjoy working in a supportive environment with new equipment and technology. - Benefit from the tenure and experience of existing staff and flexible schedule options.
