Schedule : Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00
Unit : PCU Float
What You'll Do :
As a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for managing the care of patients who are transitioning from intensive care to a less intensive setting, as well as those requiring more monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit can provide. You will utilize your critical thinking and clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What You'll Do :

Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Continuously monitor and assess patients' conditions, recognizing signs of clinical deterioration, and intervening promptly.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and effectively, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Patient Education: Provide education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, care plans, and responses to treatment in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that the needs and preferences of patients and their families are respected and met.
Requirements:
- RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
- 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel
- Covid Vaccine
- Flu Vaccine
