The Chemo/Infusion RN, undergeneral supervision, assists with the daily operations of the clinic, includingbut not limited to patient care education, triaging telephone calls,assisting with scheduling, billing, obtaining prior authorization, andmaintaining medical records for the patients.TheRegistered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care forassigned patients carrying out these responsibilities independently within theguidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospitalpolicies, procedures, and standards.
