Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN for a Med/Surg ICU position. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, monitoring critical conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver the best outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Med/Surg ICU unit.
- Perform accurate patient assessments, create care plans, and implement interventions.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments following best practices and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Michigan.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid).
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg ICU nursing experience.
- Proficient in critical care nursing skills, including ventilator management and patient monitoring.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
