Certification Details
- Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule.
- IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
- IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
- Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
- First Time Travelers Accepted.
- Shift Requirements:3x12.
Job Details
- Must have IN/Compact license in hand or submitted fingerprint application package.
- Minimum 2 Year Experience.
- Strong Urology Skillset, and IV Start.
- Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
Job Requirements
- Weekend requirements will be based on unit needs and travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract.
- Weekday and weekend flexibility required.
Schedule Information
- Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6.
- Unit Information: Urology, Plastic Surgery, orthopedic oncology, hospitalist.
