About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks, with potential approval for up to 24 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12-Hour Shifts Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience License: Permanent license in required state or compact state Certifications: BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certification required Must-Have: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments. Must work at least every other holiday. Pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation. Two references from a manager, assistant manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required. Active certifications are required, with nothing pending. Description: A nursing position is available in a medical/surgical telemetry unit. This is a rotating 3x12 shift with changes typically every two weeks. The facility will accept a contract length from 13 up to 24 weeks. Orientation includes 20 hours. The role requires passing assessments with two attempts available. Candidates must complete a background check. The role requires picking up a badge and completing fingerprints at the facility. Modules must be completed before the start and are billed for a maximum of 4 hours. Annual modules are not billed and average 6-10 hours. Some exemptions may apply temporarily for facility policies.
