About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience License: Permanent license or Compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel assignments. - Traveler must work at least every other holiday. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be completed during orientation with an acceptable score on both assessments required. Description: This position is for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse. The facility is willing to approve up to a 24-week contract. Travelers will rotate every two weeks between day and night shifts (7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm). ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both assessments is required for continuation. References from a manager, assistant manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. Travelers with travel experience must provide travel references from the most recent assignment. Required certifications must be active with nothing pending.
