About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Obstetrics Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: 3 years in Labor and Delivery; Travel experience required License: Valid state license required at the time of submission Certifications: - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - 2-year Associate Degree/Diploma or 4-year Bachelor's degree - Epic charting experience preferred Job Description: - This position involves working in an acute care hospital setting in a teaching/trauma environment. - The hospital has 145 staffed beds and utilizes the EPIC charting system. - Scrub colors are flexible. - Orientation will include 16 non-billable hours. - Module training during orientation varies in duration and is non-billable. - Requires availability for lab work within 3-5 days of signing the contract. - Must comply with the 50-mile travel requirement; locals are accepted at a local rate. - One holiday request for time off is permitted. - Background checks will be completed, with prior notification needed for any background issues. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to patient care and safety in the labor and delivery specialty.
