- Regional hospital in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona has a need for a L&D Travel Nurse. Three 12-hour night shifts per week with guaranteed hours and no cancellations.

Job Details
- Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience.
- C-section experience required.
- Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress.
- Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia.
- Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care.
Job Requirements
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week.
- Shift & Scheduling: - Nights 6p-6a Days 6a-6p.
- Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum.
- Call: one shift per 4 week schedule.
Schedule Information
- Support staff on unit: Patient Care Technician, Health Unit Secretary, OB scrub tech, HUC.
- 24/7 pharmacy in house.
- Respiratory Therapist in unit 24/7.
- Clinical background in high risk patients is needed as an in-house OB is not available, requiring nurses to have strong assessment skills and manage OB emergencies until the provider arrives.
Unit Specific Information
- Orientation: Every Monday.
- Weekend Requirement: Some prefer working all weekends and others don't.
- Floating Requirement: May float to ED or MS if experienced.
- Nurse manager occasionally see patients (when needed).
- Ratios typically 1:2.
