- Float to Postpartum on occasion for care of the infant as well as the mom

Job Requirements
- Shifts: 0630-1900, 1830-0700
- Self scheduling, can accommodate most schedule requests
- Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend, could be up to every other based on unit need
- Holiday Requirements: 1 major, 1 minor
- Floating Requirements: Will float to Postpartum, occasional float to the house to be a 'sitter'

- Number of L&D Beds: 16 labor rooms and 9 antepartum rooms
- Number of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 3
- Number of Triage beds: 7 bed triage unit
- Number of Postpartum beds: 36
- Are RNs required to titrate drips?
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, pain meds
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge on Both Shifts
- Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Duties?: 2 OBTs per shift
- OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?: 3 residents and 1 supervising MD on the floor at all times
- Anesthesia in house 24/7?: CRNAs on the unit 24/7
- RT Equipment: Nasal cannula
- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: Tele in recovery after a c-section
- EFM System: Obix
- Scrub Color/Dress code: Surgical scrubs provided
