About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Florida State or compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - Two references from authority figures (such as Managers, Supervisors, Charge Nurses, or Directors) within the last year. - Completion of a flu vaccine between 10/31-3/31, with medical/religious exemptions only. - COVID-19 vaccine, with medical/religious exemptions only. Job Description: - Provide care and support for patients in labor and delivery, maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. - Open to first-time labor and delivery nurses. - Required to work every other weekend or six weekend shifts in a six-week period; specific requirements depend on unit needs. - Will not be on call. - Required to float within scope to meet facility needs across designated hospitals. - Block schedule may be accommodated as per unit needs, subject to managerial approval. - Scrubs are provided by the facility.
