Location : Knoxville, Tennessee
Schedule : Night (3x12 Hours) 18:45 7:15
Unit : Acute Care Float
What You'll Do :
As an Acute Care Float Registered Nurse (RN) , you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient care across multiple acute care units. You will be assigned to different departments based on the hospital's needs, including but not limited to Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Orthopedics, and Cardiology. Your ability to quickly adapt to different clinical environments and collaborate with various teams will be essential in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Resp onsibilities :
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various acute care units, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Adaptability: Quickly acclimate to different clinical environments, adhering to the specific protocols, policies, and procedures of each unit.
- Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver coordinated and patient-centered care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care, ensuring they understand and are comfortable with the care provided.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, care plans, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy.
- Crisis Management: Respond effectively to changes in patient conditions and emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to provide timely interventions.
Requirements:
- RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
- 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel
- Covid Vaccine
- Flu Vaccine
