About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Home Health **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** No **Experience:** Minimum 1 full year in Adult Home Health or Hospice **License:** Must have an active nursing license **Certifications:** CPR, BLS **Must-Have:** - Proficiency in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase within the last 6 months - Reliable transportation with a current driver's license and liability insurance - Ability to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic - Willingness to accept all scheduled patients and complete documentation within 24 hours **Job Description:** - Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care according to physicians' orders and agency guidelines - Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses - Conduct home visits and attend periodic office meetings - Manage an average of 5-8 patients per day, translating to approximately 6-8 points - Handle various types of cases such as Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits - Participate in weekend rotations and on-call duties as required - Extensive travel required with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate - Must be comfortable with travel demands and complete all patient scheduling and documentation timely Note: This position does not guarantee hours; productivity points of 30 must be met weekly for a full schedule.
